The goal of the project is to have you read, understand and be able to utilize the concepts and information contained in the book, The Power of Habit. If you understand how habits are formed and maintained you will learn something incredible important, how to change them.
There are many reasons it is difficult to change a destructive habit but one of the most significant obstacles is the unconscious nature of habits, they are so common, so automatic and so ubiquitous that they disappear. It is also the goal of this project to increase your awareness of your habits, how they are formed and maintained so that you can exert conscious control over them. The implication is simple, if you can understand and change your own habits, you are more likely to be able to help others understand and change their habits.
